Kitbags Robbie Savage Photoshoot

I am no stranger to shooting football stars, back in 2009 I photographed Jamie Carragher; but this year Football legend Robbie Savage was the subject of my latest photoshoot with Online Sports Retailer KitBag, who have made Robbie their First UK Brand Ambassador.

The shoot was very last minute and was a challenge to organise, but my team found a festive location, organised christmasy props and provided makeup and hair and post production. It was wonderful to meet Robbie Savage and I hope to work with him and Kitbag again soon.

Fairy Liquid Photoshoot

A few months ago I donated my time and studio to a photoshoot for The Make a Wish Foundation is association with Fairy Liquid photographing a Very Brave Allanya who appears on the bottle lables. This week just during the weekly shop I noticed the images are now appearing on the products.

Very Brave Merseyside Tot Allanya” was the face of the campaign. The brave four-year-old, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in January last year, was offered the chance to become a well-known face thanks to a joint campaign between Fairy and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I hope it will create more support for the Make A Wish Foundation a charity which supports poorly children and their families and offers them a break away from the torment of their serious illness, has made dreams come true for Allanya in the past.

Paris Rory Lewis PhotographerIn Paris for a few days by Far the Best View of Paris Standing at 50m The View from the Arc De Triomphe is the best 360 degree view of the city. From the top you can see all of Paris each quarter laid out like orange segments. Built to Commemorate Napoleons Victory at Austerlitz on 2nd December 1805 it took over 20 years to build and Napoleon sadly never got to see his Arc De Triomphe completed. It is a marvel to behold, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world in my humble opinion.

Vidal Sassoon Summer Shoot

Really enjoy working with the team from Sassoon, over the past two years we have created some fabulous hair photography. This week the stylists wanted to experiment with hair extensions adding a fringe and using movement we shot some interesting shapes.

The images are vivid, thank you to all those involved, I look forward to working with the Liverpool Team on their next project.

2012 Keeping Abreast Photography Exhibition

It has been an amazing weekend; my first exhibition (Keeping Abreast) was a wonderful success. Starting on Friday evening (20th July) with a private viewing. Over 60 guests arrived to view my work purchasing tickets and raising £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

With a relaxed ambiance created by very talented pianist Ed Alexandre and fine Champagne and Canapés; guests enjoyed a talk by myself about the photography, and went on to enjoy an after party at the Albert Dock in Liverpool.

The following day the exhibit was open to the public, I enjoyed meeting new people and talking about my work. Many where very kind to sign my guestbook leaving comments and feedback.

You can view all the shots from the setup and private viewing on the slideshow above, please leave some comments. The private viewing was also filmed by video production company 3 Degrees West.

I’m looking forward to my next exhibition, and after organising my first, I know to take spare frames as we had a few accidents when setting up! Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the experience gaining feedback from family, clients and the public.
