July has seen a great deal of Actors popping into my Liverpool Photography Studio. It has been wonderful to meet so many aspiring and established actors of stage and screen. As a photographer I pride myself on creating Unique Headshot Photography using ‘direction’ and inventive ‘scenarios’, which easily encourage clients to express themselves, creating natural, approachable head shots.
“It was a pleasure working with Rory, he was very professional and put me completely at ease. The end result was excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rory to anyone.” Steve O’Reilly Actor
After all this is not a passport photograph, your head shots need to look professional, they must to have a certain style and look that reflects your personality. I specialise in working with both aspiring and established actors to create head shots that will get you noticed, from character shots to head shots that reflect your acting ability.
For some actors having their photo taken can be extremely nerve racking, for others it’s not such an ordeal, which ever it is for you the one thing that helps to get the best photos is time and lots of it,thats why I offer unlimited time sessions, this will ensure you are completely relaxed and will photograph at your best, so after we have put the world to rights over a cup of coffee we will have plenty of time to work.
I always like to start with a few test shots which we can view on the computer so that any necessary changes can be made. We then work in the studio for a time, this gives you a chance to get a feel of how I work and I can find out what works best for you. clothing and hair styles can be changed whenever needed. (A Makeup Artist can be provided if Needed). From time to time I will show you photos so you have a clear idea of what is going on. We then take some outside shots; by this point I will have a good idea what is best for you and you will feel even more relaxed. Actress Georgette, arranged a last minute Actors Headshots session in Liverpool, as she was attending the Star Wars Castings in Glasgow. Being able to offer quick turnaround on the session Georgette received her actors headshots the following day.
A few days after the session Georgette contacted me with some wonderful news, she had been successful at the auditions!
I wish her all the best and look forward to seeing Georgette in the upcoming Star Wars Film. You can read Georgette’s Review of the Session Below. It only emphasises the importance of Good Actors Headshots!
