Feedback From Today’s Art Nude Course in Glasgow

Thank you for all who attended today’s Course in Glasgow, please click here for Latest Timetable, and see feedback from today below.

“Rory , is someone who loves his work as a photographer , very enthusiastic . He is very willing to help and supplies one with information, during and after the shoot with notes of the different lighting setups . I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wishes to enter the beautiful world of Fine Art Nude photography.

There are so many aspects of the course that I enjoyed …this is another thing about Rory , he is a good sense of humour which rubs off on his students , because half the battle of getting something across is to make the whole learning experience enjoyable . Even after he has finished his course and you are wanting to chat about something , Rory is always available to help . A great asset for any teacher .”

I found this course interesting and Rory was helpfully explaining how to get the best lighting for the model. This course is valuable to the experienced armature who may want to delve into thie field of studio.

I am very happy with my images whether they were low key or high key. I am going to recommend this course to a friend. I now have fine art nude images on my website and portfolio.

Many thanks to the model, the people on the course and the people in charge of the lovely Steels Studio in Glasgow.

No Substitute for Good Hair Salon Photography

Low Res-1

There can be no substitute for good marketing that promotes your hair salon and engages your customers. Professional hair photography brings the styles and textures of hair design to life. A picture does indeed speak a thousand words and your customers in today’s competitive market are looking for the WOW factor.

 (Rory Lewis)

With websites like twitter and facebook, your  existing and potential clients are now looking at social networking sites and on a regular basis; being bombarded by advertising from your competitors through this medium. Your salon needs to stand out and market the excellence of its products through photography that sets it apart from all the others in online and in print.

 (Rory Lewis)

I specialise in commercial, editorial and awards photography, working with some of the best talent in the hair and beauty world. Shooting commissions for the British Hair Dressing Awards, the L’Oreal Colour Trophy and Wella Trend Vision Competitions.

Successful photoshoots are a big team effort and it is important to know that we can work together on the day to get outstanding results. I am closely involved in each shoot at an early stage and can help with all aspects from looking for models to finding a makeup artist and clothes stylist that can work successfully to your brief.

Stunning images of your work can have a big impact on the success of your business and attract prestige and new clients in a number of ways.

One shoot can produce a collection of photographs for your salon that can lead to great coverage on facebook, twitter,  in magazines, local, national and consumer/trade press. Using the shoot photographs on your salon walls, appointment cards, website and brochures are the ultimate advertisement for your business.

The shoot can be used for hair competitions, and can attract the best stylists to boost your salon. A photoshoot is also a great way to reward your stylists and generate fresh energy and creativity in the team.
